Components
You will need a 3 mm crochet hook and DK weight yarn to make these puff stitch fingerless gloves.
Acronyms:
- Ch = Chain(s)
- Sc = single crochet
- Dc = double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- st = stitch
- Hdc stands for half double crochet.
Puff Stitch Fingerless Gloves Pattern (make 2)
- Line 1: ch11, sc in second ch from hook, sc across chains [10sc]
- Line 2: ch1, turn, sc in same st, working in BLO, sc in next st, repeat until finished, sc in final st in both loops. [10st]
- Line 3-30: repeat preceding row, or until wrist circumference is reached.
- Fold the piece in half and sl st the two sides together, then turn to the other side.
- We shall now work on the hand component.

- Round 4 through 8: repeat the previous round.
Let us start with the thumb finger and work our way down.
- Round 9: (puff stitch, ch1, puff stitch) in first space, ch1, skip next 2 pairs of puff st, *(puff stitch, ch1, puff stitch) in next space between 2 pairs of puff st, ch1*, repeat * across the round, sl st to the 1st st in the round, sl st to the next space
