To make these crochet baby sandals, you’ll need a 3 mm crochet hook, two buttons, and Dk weight yarn.

Upper long section: (make 2)
- Ch40, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across the chains, ch2, turn.
- Dc in the same st, dc in the next st, dc across the row, ch1, turn.
- Sc in the same st, sc in the next st, sc across the row, ch2, turn.
- Dc in the same st, dc in the next st, dc across the row, fasten off.
Upper short section: (make 2)
- Ch24, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc across the chains, ch2, turn.
- Dc in the same st, dc in the next st, dc across the row, ch1, turn.
- Sc in the same st, sc in the next st, ch2, skip next 2st (button hole), sc in the next st, sc until the end, ch2, turn.
- Dc in the same st, dc in the next st, dc across the row, fasten off.
How to make crochet baby sandals:

For the ideal sandal:
- Begin with a long strip and stitch it to the right bottom of the sole with a tapestry needle until you reach the next bottom marker spot (22st), then fasten off.
- Sew the strip’s end between the two markings on the upper right side of the sole (after skipping 22st).
- Sew the short strip end on the upper left side of the sole between two markers.
- Attach the button to the long strip.
For the left sandal, write:
- Begin with a long strip and stitch it to the left bottom of the sole with a tapestry needle until you reach the next bottom marker spot (22st), then fasten off.
- Sew the strip’s end between the two markings on the upper left side of the sole (after skipping 22st).
- Sew the short strip end at the upper right corner of the sole between two markers.
- Attach the button to the long strip.
Fasten off and weave in all ends.
